Nightmares, they're UNBOUND! Unbound, I tells ya!

It's strange when the hype train for the last release wasn't as hard as I wanted. There's just something about sitting on a book for four years that takes the wind out of the sails. It was finished for so long, that I couldn't tell book two from three! I was juggling the timeline because it was so hard to know what was out because it was YEARS ago! Well, that all changes now.

NIGHTMARES UNBOUND! This book is IT! I had such a blast writing it. The idea came about when I had this strange idea to write a book about "a convention that kills everyone." Now, I know that sounds vague as heck, but it was a dang good start! I went ahead and wrote the book, which as the cliche goes, "poured right out of me." The story unfolded as fast as I could type. I wrote the book fast, and pawned it off to a few author friends to give me their approval, as they were some of the characters.

I knew I had a hit. They were impressed. Whether they lived or not, the excitement of being portrayed in a realistic manner, albeit overexaggerated at times, delighted my author and vendor friends whom I have shared many a table or event space with.

What is Nightmares Unbound? Where do I start? It's one part slice of life, one part absolute chaos. There's a convention. There's book selling. There's absolute mass murder. Food poisoning. A fat cat named Pigley. I don't know what's not to like?

Heck, don't take my word for it! Author J.A. Barrios (featured in the book, btw) got a first copy and said he was so stressed out reading it! Brian Paone said I needed a few more Wizard of Oz references before it was ready. Award Winning Author JEFF STRAND said he will be looking around while signing at future conventions.

One person said it unlocked a new core fear they didn't know they had! Good! I hope it has the Final Destination LOG TRUCK effect!
